“Unfortunately, our Armenian partners unofficially informed us about the undesirability of involving a number of Russian citizens in the mission. Among them are three deputies of the State Duma and the representative of the election commission of the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia,” said Zakharova.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that Moscow “is not ready to accept this logic and will have to take it into account in its future work with Yerevan.”

“The decision to deny accreditation to the Russians causes deep regret and leaves us confused,” Zakharova said.
