Kuwait expels two Iranian diplomats in response to missile attack

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense reported that on June 3, the country’s air defense systems intercepted 13 Iranian ballistic missiles and 17 drones.

Since the beginning of the Iranian aggression, according to the Kuwaiti military department, the country’s air defense has repelled a total of 372 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 869 drones.

In response to the attack, Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry summoned Iran’s charge d’affaires, handed him an official note of protest and declared two members of the Iranian diplomatic mission persona non grata, requiring them to leave the country within 24 hours.
