Death of Lyhanna: Andréa Bescond pays tribute to the young girl by re-enacting her show Les Chatouilles

Andréa Bescond continues to defend Lyhanna’s memory. Since the tragic death of the eleven-year-old schoolgirl, the director has called, alongside other personalities, for a major mobilization to pay her a final tribute. She managed to organize several rallies in front of the courts of Montauban and Castelsarrasin. These will be held this Monday evening from 7 p.m. She also plans to take her message to the stage. On social networks, Andréa Bescond announced the return, for a single date, of her show Tickling or The Dance of Anger.

Presented on Wednesday June 10 at 8 p.m. at the Folies Bergère, in Paris, this one-on-one recounts the sexual assaults suffered by the actress during her childhood and directly denounces child crime. In 2016, his composition earned him a Molière. Today, she dedicates this show ” has Lyhanna and all child victims of sexual violence.” She specifies that ticket revenue will be donated to The Women’s Foundation. On the Folies Bergère site, which can accommodate up to 1,700 spectators, places are priced between 20 and 50 euros.

“Incompetence” of the government

After the performance, spectators will be invited to join a debate around the « failures of the judicial system, the silence around the Epstein affair, the state affair of child criminal networks in after-school education, the sexual exploitation of minors and the abandonment of the ASE”summarizes Andréa Bescond. The director above all criticizes the government for its “incompetence” and points to the profile of the main suspect, Jérôme Barella, who has already been the subject of several complaints dismissed for sexual violence against minors. “How can we still talk about news stories when a child is killed by a serial child molester? »she is indignant.

Earlier in the week, the director denounced “one injustice too many” and declared that France was “a country that abandons its children and a country that dies.” Andréa Bescond is not the only artist to have spoken out after Lyhanna’s death. Several personalities – including Jeanne Cherhal, Maïtena Biraben and Alex Lutz – signed a joint text denouncing the inaction of the public authorities. “Girls have rights, including not being prey”they wrote.
