The star of Game of Thrones says that he applied for detoxification during the filming of the series

In the story, the stars spoke openly about drug addiction, nudity scenes and social anxiety, among other things. “Oh boys. Let’s embarrass each other,” says Dinklage at the beginning of the interview.

Harington presented Game of Thronesissa Jon Snow, one of the main heroes of the series. The role launched Harington’s TV career and catapulted him to international fame. In an interview with Variety, he talks about the pressure and anxiety that followed from success.

“This is great, but at the same time this is getting a little scary,” he says he thought when the series grew into a global phenomenon.

“For the most part Game of Thrones years, I was afraid to say anything in public,” Harington continues and admits that he suffers from social anxiety.

“I was afraid to go into situations where I had to face people.”

Harington also says that he applied for rehab at the same time that the first episode of the last season was released. He was 32 years old at the time.

“I was there for six weeks. I had to get sober. I had to get my head right.”

Game of Thronesin after it ended, Harington retired from work completely for a year.

Peter Dinklage presented Game of Thronesissa Tyrion Lannister, also a central character. At the beginning of the series, Tyrion and Jon Snow become friends and a warm relationship of trust develops between them.

Especially in the later seasons, the series was filmed extensively in Spain. Dinklage recalls filming days in thick role clothes:

“There’s nothing worse than an actor who complains, but it was really hot in Spain. . . . If Tyrion is so smart, why is he wearing clothes like this in 38 degree heat?”

Game of Thronesin since Dinklage has played smaller roles.

“I started developing my own projects. Sen [Game of Thronesin] since I haven’t done anything I didn’t want to do. Before Thronesia there was a lot of good, but also a lot that I wasn’t very proud of.”

Harington’s perhaps the most famous role Game of Thronesin after is Sir Henry Muck, the young billionaire of HBO Industryin the series. In Variety’s story, Harington mentions the nude scenes, which he says he does “a weird amount” these days.

“The more I do them, the more I think: Maybe I should stop. I have to start thinking about my kids, ‘Why is daddy always naked on screen?'”

Dinklage is more relaxed about it:

“It’s nothing. Nudity is a good thing.”

Harington’s and according to Dinklage, the former Game of Thrones -actors have hardly been in contact since the end of the series.

“Friends have told me to text more. Be a better friend,” Dinklage says.

“I also think we all wanted to get ahead in life,” says Harington.
