Cerezo: “Atlético is excellent both off and on the field”

The president of Atlético de Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, stated that the red and white club is “excellent” on and off the football field, after collecting the ‘Madrid Excellent’ quality seal this Monday, which endorses its commitment to excellence and contribution to the economic and social development of the region.

“It is an excellent recognition that we thank the Community of Madrid and the Ministry of Finance. It is a great satisfaction for us to receive this award because we are working hard on sustainability,” said the mattress manager at the end of the event.

The distinction of Madrid Excellent recognizes Atlético’s commitment to excellence in management, innovation and corporate social responsibility. The evaluation process has taken into account aspects such as efficiency in administrative and economic management, as well as the social commitment of the Madrid club to the community.

Furthermore, in recent months the Community of Madrid has reinforced the seal evaluation system, incorporating new criteria focused on cybersecurity, thus adapting to new digital challenges.

In this sense, Enrique Cerezo indicated that Atlético “is excellent, both off and on the field”, and congratulated businessman Florentino Pérez for revalidating the presidency of Real Madrid until 2030 in the elections held this Sunday in Valdebebas.
