V-Green cooperates with EVN Hanoi to install 10,000 electric motorbike battery exchange cabinets

According to the cooperation agreement, V-Green Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Electricity Corporation (EVN Hanoi) will cooperate in constructing, installing and operating battery exchange cabinet systems in 126 communes and wards of Hanoi.

In particular, V-Green will exploit about 16,000 power station premises of EVN Hanoi, install from 7,000 to 10,000 battery exchange cabinets, supporting VinFast car users. These two businesses also piloted the installation of electric vehicle battery exchange cabinets at transformer stations, electrical cabinets, electric poles… with suitable locations in Hanoi. EVN Hanoi will supply power and sign power purchase contracts directly for charging stations, battery exchange cabinets and design, supervision, construction and maintenance consulting services for the electrical system. The battery exchange cabinet system and related items will be invested in by V-Green, ensuring technical and safety standards.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of EVN Hanoi, said that the V-Green cooperation shows EVN Hanoi’s social responsibility and cooperation in creating green transportation infrastructure. “EVN Hanoi is committed to providing stable and safe power sources and consulting, construction and maintenance services for the charging station system and V-Green battery exchange cabinets in the capital,” he said.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Vinh, Deputy General Director of V-Green, said that the EVN Hanoi cooperation agreement is a step forward for the business in its strategy of covering charging station infrastructure, promoting the trend of greening transportation. “With a scale of up to 10,000 battery exchange cabinets, VinFast electric motorbike users in Hanoi will have more convenience when refueling, contributing to reducing emissions and a healthier environment,” he said.

Over the past time, V-Green has continuously cooperated with large businesses such as Vietnam Post, VNPT, PV Oil, electronics chain MediaMart, The Gioi Di Dong, FPT Shop… to expand the network of charging stations and electric vehicle battery exchange cabinets nationwide. According to the plan, V-Green will complete the deployment of 60,000 battery exchange cabinets nationwide in the second quarter of this year.
