In Suvilahti 14.–16.8. The organized Flow festival announced on Tuesday the fixing of the hard category surprisingly late.
Welsh-Greek pop artist The marina eli Marina Diamandis is scheduled to perform on the Friday night of the festival, which has previously been confirmed to headline the Swedish superstar Zara Larsson.
Marina has previously played four full-scale gigs in Finland, at Flow and Tavastia club in 2010 and at Ruisrock in 2015 and 2019.
The artist, who first performed under the name Marina and the Diamonds, has released six albums, the latest of which Princess of Power was released in 2025. Before the new album, he left his longtime label Atlantic and released the album under license with BMG through his own Queenie Records label.

Flow festival the program has received criticism for the lack of top international names, like almost all other music events in Finland this summer. At the same time, Way Out West, organized in Gothenburg, for example, has almost the same international big-name artists as Flow in its repertoire, but in addition, for example Moby’sThe Curen, Gorillazin ja Wilcon.
Instead, Florence + The Machine and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who have performed at the festival several times before, have been confirmed as Flow’s top acts for Saturday and Sunday. They are of course big and reliable names, but from the consumer’s point of view, the risk is a repetition of the festival’s previous top experiences in a diluted form.
Friday looks even more like Flow’s main day after the Marina fixing. Marina’s gig is advertised as the artist’s only performance in the Nordic countries this summer.
