Aaron Frankel’s rocket company wants to go public on the Nasdaq

Bevision, are expected to publish the first prospectus already in the coming month (July), in preparation for the completion of the move based on the reports of the first quarter. This, after the company examined in recent months the possibility of bringing in Israeli institutional bodies as a preliminary step to the IPO, according to values ​​similar to those it targets in the IPO. But after the institutions demanded much lower values, the company decided to advance the move without them.

In the meantime, for Frankel, who is expected to sell some of his shares in the company as part of the offering, this is a significant increase in value on the original investment he made about 15 years ago. In 2011, Frankel purchased the company, and since then has invested an estimated $110 million in it, and is now expected to issue it at a much higher value.

Accumulated orders of about 370 million dollars

According to estimates, the company, which operates from Emek Hefer and employs over 250 people, has an order backlog of approximately 370 million dollars. The company’s products, which include attack systems and various advanced missiles, under the name “Hero”, are sold to over 30 armies and countries around the world.

The company has been managed for the past year and a half by Dr. Ran Gozli, who in the past held a number of senior positions at Rafael. The chairman of the company in recent years is Ilan Gifman, an associate of Frankel, who in the past served as CEO of the yielding real estate company Aspen Group and retired about a decade ago. Gipman, an accountant by profession, has been close to Frankel ever since, and assists him in the management of his real estate in Europe. He serves on his behalf as a director of the investments he made in Israel (currently in Aloni Hatz, formerly in Gev Yam).

Towards the end of the year, UVision, together with the American Mistral, signed a huge deal for the supply of suicide drones for $982 million, in a multi-year contract starting in 2026. The Emek Hefer company’s agreement with Washington includes the purchase of the means, their integration into the field forces in the American army, training and regular maintenance of the systems. The Americans chose UVISION’s Hero 120 model, which reaches the range A maximum of about 40-60 km and an operating time of about an hour.

The Hero models have a system that allows the remote operator to see what the roving armament sees, through electro-optical and infrared cameras. He can make minor course corrections to the aircraft, or determine that the mission is canceled, in cases such as the appearance of passers-by, for example. It is also possible to launch the roving weapons to the targets, and have them carry out the mission from start to finish by themselves, or transfer the operation of it to an agent in the field – to increase the coordination and efficiency of the forces.
