“Tragic scene”: Yoav, Elad and David are the dead in the plane crash in the USA

After the heavy fear, Israel confirmed this morning that three Israelis were killed in the crash of the light plane in Maryland yesterday: Yoav Boomrind, Elad Neidik and David Rabinovitch. The Israeli Consul in Washington and the Department for Israelis Abroad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs accompany the families in their difficult time, are in continuous contact with them and assist in coordination and liaison with the local authorities.

Upon receiving the report, Yanki Landau, the commander of Zaka USA, who commanded the handling of the incident on behalf of the unit, arrived at the scene, together with the volunteers of the charity organization “Matisakim” headed and under the command of Meir Fried. The volunteers worked for long hours at the difficult scene, caring for the deceased, collecting the findings and cleaning the place.

“We worked for long hours with due respect for the deceased, collecting all the findings and handling the tragic scene,” said Yanki Landau, commander of the US ZAKA. “I would like to give special thanks to the kind man, Rabbi Mattiyo Melnik, who accompanied the treatment of the incident from the beginning, helped a lot with all the authorities and the various parties, and worked with dedication and determination to bring about a quick end to the treatment at the scene and the release of the bodies of the dead as soon as possible, all while preserving the dignity of the dead and great sensitivity to the families.”
