Israel and India agreed to cooperate in the field of government audit

Comptroller General of India Sanjay Murthy and Comptroller General of Israel Matanyahu Engelman signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in the field of government auditing.

The signing took place during Engelman’s visit to New Delhi at the head of a delegation of senior staff from the Comptroller’s Office.

The Memorandum creates the basis for expanded cooperation in the field of government audit through the exchange of professional knowledge, methodologies, technical expertise, training opportunities and best practices.

The feasibility of holding bilateral seminars alternately in India and Israel to exchange professional experience and innovative practices in areas of common interest was also discussed.
