YouTube dominates influencer earnings: up to 58 thousand euros for videos

The photograph taken by report DeRev 2026 shows an increasingly segmented creator economy, where social platforms recognize very different compensations and where access to the highest earnings brackets is reserved for a small number of profiles with large communities and high engagement.

I higher salaries come from YouTube but you have to produce long videos, paid up to 58 thousand euros. Instagram also rewards with 35 thousand euros, the more “poor” the earnings from TikTok (no more than 8,500 euros) while Facebook corresponds a very meager sum, below 1,000 euros. This is revealed by report DeRev 2026. These are mind-boggling figures, but not easy to reach: for example, YouTube pays around 60 thousand euros for a video but only if you fall within the small circle of influencers with over a million followers and an engagement percentage of 0.64%. In this category, short videos earn between 8,500 and 18 thousand euros. It must be said that VIPs are no longer as interesting as they used to be for big brands: according to the report, the Macro influencer and Mid-tier categories are now the most interesting areas to focus on. They are those creators who can respectively count on a following ranging from 100 thousand to 500 thousand and between 50 thousand and 100 thousand followers.

Earnings on Instagram: posts and stories

In detail, Instagram corresponds to its celebrities too up to 35 thousand euros for a postbut it is an amount that only creators with over 3 million followers earn. Those who earn between 50 thousand and 300 thousand can earn between 1,500 and 5,500 euros for a post. Stories pay less but rely on frequency. Up to 1,100 euros for a story that lasts just 24 hours.

TikTok’s performance and the collapse of Facebook

TikTok does not go beyond 8,500 euros for a postbut only if the creator has more than 3 million followers and the basis to start earning on the Chinese video platform is at least 5,000 followers. In that case the fees do not exceed 175 euros. More than what Facebook pays, which has significantly reduced its compensation. The starting point on the first major social network is 10 thousand followers. You can reach 50 euros per post which rises up to 2,000 euros, if you exceed 3 million followers. It is more common to earn between 150 and 650 euros when the audience is under one million users.
