Trump revealed what will happen next in the Iran war and played down the rise in oil prices

President of the United States Donald Trump arrived in Ankara unsatisfied, but during the meeting he said that he experienced “tremendous love”. The president assured that he was very satisfied with the NATO meeting that ended on Wednesday.

Trump said the US would stay in NATO. He was also pleased that Europeans are now investing more in their defense, and above all buying American weapons, which Trump praised as the best in the world.

According to media reports, in the discussions held behind the closed doors of the summit, Trump did not bring up his criticism of Spain earlier in the day, nor did he mention the dispute related to Greenland.

Trump told a press conference in the evening that Spain and Britain had a “bad moment” when they did not help the United States in the Iran war.

“But today we came together. They love us,” Trump said.

Played down the rise in oil prices

Trump’s earlier statements in Ankara regarding the Iran war have increased the price of oil. The oil market has been on the rise by around seven percent on Wednesday.

Trump was asked what will happen next in the Iran conflict, as the world seems to be taking the president’s word for it that the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Iran has lapsed and the cease-fire has ended, and we may now be on the verge of a full-scale conflict restarting.

Trump told reporters what’s next for Iran.

“Iran will never get a nuclear weapon because that’s much more important than the numbers you’re talking about.”

He assured that “oil prices are falling rapidly”.

“They may be going up a little bit now, but this will end very quickly.”

According to Trump, there is currently an oversupply of oil, “because we got all those ships out of the strait, and prices are going to go down.”

“I’ve predicted all of this. I’ve been right about it all, and I’ve been for a long time,” Trump said.

On Iran’s hit list

The president said he is not sure if he wants to make a deal with Iran anyway.

“We can play all kinds of games, but I’m not sure I want to make a deal – I just finished the job.”

The president also stated that he is number one on Iran’s hit list and lamented the danger of the president’s job.

Earlier in the day, Trump hinted at the possibility that the United States would impose a maritime blockade on Iran again. The embargo was previously lifted under the US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding.

“We might do it,” Trump said Wednesday.

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, on the other hand, said that the United States is ready next night, if necessary, to strike, among other things, Iran’s radar stations, which it uses in its attacks on ships.
