Google Pixel 11, possible colors and specifications leaked

Less than a month from the official presentation scheduled for August 12, the Google Pixel 11 range is back at the center of rumors. This time the information comes from some product pages published by mistake on Amazon USA and subsequently removed, identified by the site 9to5Google. Although these are most likely errors in view of the official pre-order, the adverts offer a first look at the colours, hardware configurations and possible prices of the new smartphones.

According to what emerged, the standard Pixel 11 could be available in the colors Fuchsia (Hibiscus), Moss (Pistachio) and Midnight (Obsidian), confirming Google’s desire to offer a more lively palette compared to previous generations. The same advertisements also reported two different names for the same colors, a detail that suggests that the definitive nomenclature has not yet been established.

For the Pixel 11 Pro, however, the colors indicated would be Pine (Olive), Light Fog (Fog), Sterling (Frost) and Dune (Canyon). The folding model Pixel 11 Pro Fold should instead be limited to two color variants: Pine (Olive) and Midnight (Obsidian).

The published data sheets would also have revealed some technical characteristics of the basic model. The Pixel 11 would be equipped with a 6.3-inch display with 1080 × 2424 pixel resolution, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, with an indicated price of $899. If this information were confirmed, it would strengthen rumors that Google would eliminate the 128GB version, thus justifying an increase in the starting price.

Among the most curious details also appears a device called Google Pixel Tag, never officially announced and which could represent a new Bluetooth locator intended to compete with products such as AirTag and SmartTag.

The information, however, should be interpreted with caution. In fact, the adverts contained some inconsistencies, such as the reference to Android 16, despite Android 17 having already been launched, as well as the presence of a SIM extraction tool, now superfluous on most recent Pixel smartphones. The definitive confirmation will come on August 12, when Google will officially present the new Pixel family during its hardware event.
