Israeli Ehud Tenenbaum, known as “The Analyzer”, was detained in Poland and extradited to the Netherlands. The investigation suspects him of playing a key role in an international criminal network that engaged in fraud under the guise of investments.

According to the Dutch police, the attackers used fake advertisements with images of famous people, convincing residents of the Netherlands and Belgium to invest money in supposedly profitable projects. More than 200 victims lost tens of millions of euros, and the total income of the network, according to investigators, exceeded 100 million euros per month.

47-year-old Ehud Tenenbaum was detained on May 26 at a Polish airport at the request of the Dutch authorities. He is now in custody. Police say his technical knowledge allowed the criminal organization to evade detection for a long time.

Ehud Tenenbaum gained fame in 1998 when, at the age of 18, he was detained after hacking into the computer systems of NASA, the Pentagon, the US military and the Knesset. In Israel, he was sentenced to one and a half years in prison, of which he served eight months.
