After a labeling error, Leclerc recalls turkey cordon bleus sold throughout France

Be careful if you have recently purchased cordon bleus in E. Leclerc supermarkets. The brand announced this Monday, July 20, that it was recalling a batch of “turkey cordon bleu escalopes” from the distributor brand Marque Repère Côté Croc, sold between July 10 and 17 throughout France. The cause? An error on the expiration date written on the product packaging, underlines Rappel Conso.

This concerns products from batch 29026190 and whose GTIN, present on the barcode, is 3564700430774. The date of August 31, 2026 written on the 400 g box which contains four cordon bleus is in reality incorrect. This could lead to consumption beyond the actually valid date and therefore to possible food poisoning despite good storage of the product, which should be kept in the refrigerator after purchase.

Do not consume the product

If you purchased this product during the marketing week, you are invited not to consume it and to return it to the point of sale for a refund. A batch of Maxi Cordons-bleus poultry from the Le Gaulois brand was also withdrawn from the market in spring 2025, on suspicion of possible listeria contamination of some of the one-kilo boxes. Marketed between March 13 and 20 in Auchan, Carrefour, Francap, Leclerc, Intermarché, Hyper U, Super U, U Express stores throughout France, they were recalled at the beginning of April 2025.
