La Jornada: The consultation for the tender for smart networks concludes

The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (CRT) closed the public consultation period on the draft Guidelines for the bidding of smart networks, in which companies, industrial chambers and technological integrators interested in the use of the radio spectrum participated.

The process was carried out from June 18 to July 15, a period in which the Commission received comments on the calendar of the procedure, the validity of the concessions, the size of the spectrum blocks, the mechanisms for accreditation of participants and the delimitation of the coverage polygons.

Thus, the CRT will adjust the final design of the tender, the first of its kind in the country aimed at intelligent radio communications networks for industrial use.

The spectrum will be used to enable networks for sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, mining, ports, airports, energy complexes, agribusiness and industrial parks in the interest of greater industrial automation.
