Major Yuval Ezra and reserve sergeant major Benayahu Mellet were killed in the terrorist attack in Samaria.

The IDF announced that two soldiers, one an operational officer and one a member of the local security force, were killed in the July 24 terrorist attack in Samaria.

The names of the deceased:

Major Yuval Ezra, 27, from Herzliya, battery commander of the 411th Battalion of the 282nd Artillery Brigade.

Reserve Sergeant Major Benayahu Mellet, 32, from Yitzhar, served in the 8119th Battalion of the 16th “Jerusalem” Brigade.

Benayahu Mellet lived in a Jewish settlement, served in the local rapid response unit, and was responsible for agricultural work. He is survived by his wife, Esther, and two daughters, ages 12 and 13, according to the Kikar website.
