30 million euros transfer fee: Media: BVB before transfer of Greek teenager

Borussia Dortmund is about to sign Greek offensive player Konstantinos Karetsas. As “Kicker” and the TV channel Sky report, the 18-year-old’s move from Belgian first division club KRC Genk is almost perfect. The transfer fee for the teenager, who is contractually bound until the summer of 2029, should amount to 30 million euros plus two million euros in bonus payments. The mandatory medical check at the Bundesliga club is scheduled to take place in the next few days.

Karetsas is intended as a replacement for former national player Julian Brandt (30), who is looking for a club after his contract expires. The young professional was born in Genk, but has already played senior international matches for Greece. In the last Europa League season, Karetsas and his club failed in the round of 16 against SC Freiburg.
