Cyera buys Israeli startup Oasis Security for billion

Israeli cybersecurity company Cyera has signed a letter of intent to acquire startup Oasis Security. The transaction value is estimated at approximately $1 billion. About $700 million is expected to be paid in cash, the rest in Cyera shares, Calcalist reports. The deal is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.

Oasis Security is a classic example of the success of an Israeli technology school. The company was founded in 2022 by Danny Brickman (CEO) and Amit Zimerman (CPO). Both come from the IDF’s elite cyber units, giving them a deep understanding of how modern infrastructure attacks are carried out. The company develops access control systems for so-called non-human digital identifiers – software services, automated processes and artificial intelligence agents. Technology allows them to determine what data and systems they can access and under what conditions.

Since its founding, Oasis Security has raised approximately $195 million. In March 2026, the company completed a $120 million investment round with participation from Craft Ventures, Cyberstarts, Sequoia Capital and Accel.

Cyera was founded in 2021 by Yotam Segev and Tamar Bar-Ilan. In June, the company raised $600 million at a $12 billion valuation, bringing its total funding raised to about $2.3 billion. The Oasis acquisition would combine Cyera’s enterprise data protection technologies with access control systems for artificial intelligence programs and agents.

In recent months, Cyera has acquired several Israeli startups, including Genie Security and Ryft. The company also previously acquired Trail Security, Otterize and Shape AI, expanding its unified data protection and artificial intelligence platform.
