32 countries condemn executions of protesters in Iran

Among the signatories of the document are Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Norway and other countries.

The authors of the statement stressed that the use of the death penalty to suppress dissent and punish people for exercising their rights cannot be justified.

The countries called on the Iranian authorities to immediately end the use of the death penalty and release all those arbitrarily detained, as well as ensure the rights of citizens to freedom of speech and peaceful assembly.
