UAE accuses Iran of attacking two ADNOC vessels in Strait of Hormuz

The UAE Foreign Ministry blamed Iran for the attack and strongly condemned the attack, saying it posed a threat to freedom of navigation, regional stability and global energy security. Details about the nature of the damage to the vessels and the weapons used have not yet been provided.

This is not the first such incident. According to ADNOC, since the beginning of the current war, 15 of the company’s ships have already been attacked in the Strait of Hormuz. Previous attacks had left one crew member dead and 20 injured. Another ADNOC vessel was attacked on 8 August.
