West of Kyiv, a Russian drone attack caused fires and explosions; about 30 dead

On Friday, August 28, in the evening, as a result of an attack by the Russian Federation on the territory of one of the enterprises in the village of Mila, Buchansky district, located west of Kyiv, a drone, the type of which is being established, fell.

A fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise and explosions began. As of Saturday, August 29, at least 27 people were killed there and more than 40 were injured, UNIAN reports.

The Kyiv–Chop highway is temporarily closed. Police, rescuers, bomb technicians and all emergency services are on site.

The prosecutor’s office has already begun an investigation into the circumstances of the explosion on the territory of the enterprise and the actions of responsible officials. In particular, an investigation was launched under Art. 367 of the Criminal Code on official negligence.
