Champions League: Demichelis calls for vigilance and courage in Madrid

Captain Raum: “Show a different face”

RB captain David Raum also knows how difficult the situation is. “After the 6:1 the mood was initially in the basement, the next day we talked to each other. We are all at the level where we know what went wrong. We have the chance to show a different face tomorrow,” said RB captain David Raum and added: There were several topics that didn’t fit. Our game idea also depends on our intensity, which wasn’t right.”

Christoph Baumgartner’s return after a four-month break due to a muscle injury in his thigh also gives hope. The Austrian national soccer player completed the full program during the final training session at the training academy on Cottaweg in Leipzig and could therefore also be an alternative for the Champions League game.
