Thai police detained a 54-year-old Israeli citizen in the Hoai Kwang district of Bangkok. He is suspected of meeting women through a dating app, inviting them to his home, treating them to a cake allegedly laced with drugs, and then secretly filming them having sex.
According to law enforcement agencies, during a search of the apartment rented by the Israeli, 15 grams of methamphetamine, 50 packaging bags, digital scales and a tray of baked goods were discovered and seized. A 44-year-old Thai citizen was detained along with the suspect.
The arrest was carried out on the basis of a complaint received. According to the police statement, the suspect was in Thailand illegally for 2,095 days – his visa expired in 2021.
