Participating in the Discovery + program ‘Stars in the Sweater’ is not just easy as a game.
The well-known TV host Lisbeth Østergaard has had to admit this.
During her participation in the program, she has been seriously injured.
She writes this on her Instagram profile, where she also shows pictures of her legs, which are violently bruised.

Lisbeth Østergaard tells Ekstra Bladet that she was injured when she had to jump from a slope and 13 meters into the water.
– I’m really used to being in the water. I am a winter swimmer and love water. But I never jump from the edge. Nor just from a jetty, because I hate getting my head under water. That’s why I always go into the water, she says and continues:
– I did not really think I had problems with heights, but it turned out that I had when I had to jump out. I was shaking like an aspen leaf and I was really scared to death. I fumbled with my helmet and could not put it on, so it went completely wrong, she says with a laugh.
Very anxiety-provoking
Lisbeth Østergaard, however, chose to defy her anxiety and jump, even though she was paralyzed by fear.
– It was very anxiety-provoking, also because it was the first challenge we had to go through. It was not fun at the moment, but today I am glad I did, she says and continues:
– But the reason why I get off so wrong is that I do not jump in the right way. I almost go over the edge, and I stick to my nose as the only one. I’m not in control of it. We were told we were going to stabilize and jump out and I do none of the parts.
– In addition, the helmet smokes down and hits my eye, so in addition to the bruises, I also get a gash at the eye, so it went really well.
Everything hurt
In the days that followed, Lisbeth Østergaard therefore had almost unbearable pain.
– Everything we had to do afterwards just felt impossible with those legs. It hurt so much and they were so swollen that it was really some long days. But there was nothing to do. I just had to bite it in me. I was told that it was not dangerous and that I could continue, so quitting is not an option.
