Aiforia is trying again the share issue that was rejected by the general meeting

Healthcare technology company by Aiforia Technologies shareholders are invited to an extraordinary general meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

The request for an extraordinary meeting has come from a shareholder who owns approximately 13.2 percent of all shares and votes in the company. According to the company’s press release, the shareholder proposes that the extraordinary general meeting decides on authorizing the board to decide on the share issue.

The previous proposal fell through

At the beginning of April, Aiforia’s annual general meeting decided not to approve the share issuance authorization presented by the board, as the proposal did not receive a qualified majority.

The shareholder who requested the extraordinary general meeting has stated that the voting result was caused by the technical and administrative difficulties that several significant shareholders had in the registration process for the general meeting, which in turn prevented them from exercising their right to vote.

Aiforia’s board considers it essential for the interests of the company and all shareholders that the board has the necessary financial flexibility to secure funding and implement the company’s growth strategy. The shareholders, who represent a total of 51.7 percent of the company’s shares and votes, have informed the board that they support authorizing the board to decide on the share issue.

The shares issued based on the authorization can be new shares or the company’s own shares. The number of shares to be issued based on the authorization can be a maximum of 5,000,000 shares. Shares can be issued in one or more installments.

The extraordinary general meeting is held without a meeting place via a real-time remote connection as a remote meeting. Shareholders can fully exercise their rights during the meeting via remote connection or by voting in advance.
