Armani Dubai begins a major modernization phase and closes its doors until the end of 2026

The Armani Hotel Dubai, located inside the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, announced its official closure as of April 1, 2026, in order to begin a comprehensive renovation project aimed at redeveloping its hotel facilities and services.
The hotel explained in an official statement that the closure comes as part of a plan to reformulate the luxury hospitality experience it offers, while preserving the distinctive design identity that bears the signature of international designer Giorgio Armani, and that it will reopen in the fourth quarter of 2026.
This update is the first of its kind since the hotel opened in 2010, when it was launched as the first hotel in the world to carry the Armani brand inside the tallest tower in the world.
The hotel includes a number of prominent restaurants and facilities that have temporarily stopped operating, including the “Armani/Ristorante,” “Amal,” and “Hashi” restaurants, in addition to the “Armani/Spa” resort and the “Armani/Privi Club,” which over the past years have formed major destinations for visitors in downtown Dubai.
The management confirmed that the project aims to develop all elements of the hotel experience, in line with developments in the luxury hospitality sector globally, noting that reservations will gradually resume after the reopening scheduled for the end of 2026.
According to the “Downtown Dubai” website of Emaar, the developer of the Downtown Dubai area, during the closure period, activities in the Downtown Dubai area that the company is developing will continue normally, including the tourist and commercial facilities surrounding Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall.
