MB gives payment speakers, free for 5 years to business households

Specifically, sellers can register to open a business account right on the MBBank App 24/7 and receive equipment delivered to their door without complicated procedures or paying any fees in advance. Each customer receives the promotion once during the implementation period. To maintain free usage, customers only need to receive money via QR code on the speaker regularly every month or maintain an average balance in the business account.

In case the customer is not eligible for free maintenance in any month, the customer can still continue to use the device for a fee of 50,000 VND per month (excluding VAT). This mechanism aims to encourage business households to switch to non-cash payments, separate business revenue, and facilitate tax declaration according to regulations. In particular, MB applies a 1-for-1 warranty policy for speaker technical errors, helping users feel secure in using the service for a long time without having to worry about repair costs or equipment warranty.

Not just a transaction support device, payment speakers are gradually becoming a “powerful arm” in the digitalization process of household businesses. According to Mibrand’s survey in December 2025, MB Payment Speaker is in the group of solutions chosen by many business households, with a rate of nearly 50% of the number surveyed.

Ms. Hoang Nhung, owner of a family restaurant in Hanoi, said that using payment speakers makes sales more convenient and secure. Previously, every time a customer transferred money, she had to constantly check her phone to confirm the transaction. “Now you just need to hear the announcement from the loudspeaker to know the money has come in, faster and more accurately, without worrying about mistakes or loss,” she said.

According to her, free use of equipment for 5 years also helps reduce operating costs, especially for small models. “This savings can be used to rotate capital or pay more for the store, so I feel more secure,” she shared.

Ms. Nhung’s story reflects the general trend when many small businesses switch to digital payment tools in the context of increasingly popular cashless payments, and requirements for separating revenue and tax declaration are also applied by the Tax agency from the beginning of 2026.

Vietnam currently has about 5 million individual business households, most of which still operate manually, without clearly separating business and personal cash flows. As tax regulations become increasingly specific, complete and accurate transaction recording becomes key.

From the first quarter of 2026, many localities will strengthen tax compliance reviews, encouraging small businesses to switch to automatic transaction recording solutions. At the same time, banks also promote the development of digital tools to help customers standardize operations and separate cash flows.
