Shin Bet has banned Israeli airlines from flying to Dubai until September 1

Israel’s General Security Service (Shin Bet) has ordered the suspension of Israeli airline flights to the United Arab Emirates until September 1.

The decision comes amid renewed Iranian strikes on the UAE, the re-closure of Dubai airport and an ongoing travel warning for the country.

The ban applies to El Al, Arkiya and Israair airlines, ITV Channel 13 reported.

However, Emirati carriers FlyDubai and Etihad Airways continue to operate daily flights to Israel.

The PassportNews website notes that this decision has caused dissatisfaction with airlines, which are losing one of their most popular destinations at the height of the summer season.
