Low-cost airline Wizz Air will resume flights to Israel from May 28

The Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air has officially announced the resumption of flights to Israel from May 28, reports the PassportNews portal. The decision comes after the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) lifted its recommendation against flying to Israel.

The company plans to restore routes to several major European cities, including London, Budapest, Bucharest, Larnaca, Warsaw, Milan and Rome. Tickets are already on sale on the company’s website and app.

On May 13, the Lufthansa group announced the resumption of flights to Israel in the near future. Italy’s ITA Airways plans to return in July.
