Vinhomes started construction on Nam Trang Cat industrial park project

On May 14, Vinhomes Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company started the investment project to develop infrastructure of Nam Trang Cat industrial park, in Hai An ward.

Mr. Le Khac Hiep – Vice President of Vingroup said the project’s groundbreaking affirms Vinhomes’ commitment to accompanying the sustainable development of the city. “With modern infrastructure, the project not only meets the increasing needs of domestic and international manufacturers, but also actively contributes to the process of attracting foreign direct investment and socio-economic growth in the coming time,” he affirmed.

Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park belongs to Dinh Vu – Cat Hai economic zone, Hai An ward, possessing a strategic location, fully connecting 5 types of transportation: road, sea, river, aviation and railway. Specifically, the project is next to Lach Huyen port – the only international seaport in the North, moving to Cat Bi international airport in 10 – 15 minutes, to Hanoi – Hai Phong – Quang Ninh highway in less than 10 minutes and easily connected to the city administrative center.

The project has a scale of more than 200 hectares, developed according to the high-tech industrial park model, with priority given to attracting modern, high-value-added, environmentally friendly manufacturing industries. The above orientation is consistent with the green and sustainable industrial development strategy of Hai Phong in particular and the Northeast region in general.

With the advantage of overall planning capacity, speed and quality of infrastructure construction, the Nam Trang Cat industrial park project is expected to become an important link in the industrial – seaport – logistics ecosystem, contributing to increasing advantages for the city, catching the wave of global supply chain shifts, and promoting economic restructuring towards modernity and sustainable development.
