MB connects the network with 33 local tax authorities

On June 26, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) held a cooperation signing ceremony with the Department of Taxation and 20 local tax agencies in both a live and online form. Along with the 13 tax authorities that previously signed cooperation agreements, the event marked a milestone for the bank to complete connection with 33 tax authorities across the country.

According to the agreement, the parties strengthen the connection between bank accounts and electronic tax platforms, contributing to promoting non-cash payments, improving transparency and creating convenience for taxpayers.

At the event, Mr. Pham Nhu Anh, General Director of MB said that the signing ceremony has special meaning for MB, the Tax Agency, and millions of businesses, business households and individuals. Based on its strengths in technology, digital infrastructure and experience serving a large number of individual customers, business households and enterprises, the bank will coordinate with the Department of Taxation to deploy electronic tax payment solutions, data connection to serve compliance with tax obligations and create more favorable conditions for people and businesses to access simple, convenient and effective banking and financial services.

According to MB, the cooperation program with the Department of Taxation aims to support taxpayers throughout the entire operating process, from establishing a business, registering a tax code, declaring and paying taxes electronically to accessing credit solutions based on tax compliance data.

At the signing ceremony, a representative of MB’s Digital Banking Division presented a proposed plan to deploy solutions based on three pillars, seamlessly connecting the entire taxpayer’s journey.

Firstly, the BIZ MBBank digital banking platform supports businesses during the establishment process with incentives on costs, digital signatures and electronic invoices. Second, MB coordinates with the Tax authority to deploy communication, training and consulting programs to help businesses update policies, improve management capacity and comply with tax regulations.

The third group of solutions focuses on providing automatic credit to small and medium-sized enterprises based on electronic invoice data and tax compliance history. Businesses can be granted a credit limit of up to 5 billion VND, with a maximum disbursement time of two working days; The process is carried out completely online on the BIZ MBBank platform.

Bank representatives said these three pillars form a closed ecosystem, bringing dual benefits to help businesses be more transparent about taxes, easily access capital, improve business efficiency, thereby creating a more sustainable tax revenue source for the state budget.

Appreciating the role of commercial banks in digital transformation of the tax industry, Mr. Mai Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Taxation, expected MB to continue coordinating to deploy connection and data exchange solutions to support businesses, business households and taxpayers.

According to him, this coordination will contribute to modernizing tax management, supporting taxpayers to fulfill their budget obligations in real time, and promoting the development of the private economic sector according to the orientation of the Central Government, the Government and the Ministry of Finance.

At the event, MB also introduced the MB Seller solution set for business households and individual businesses. According to the bank, this solution supports revenue management, electronic invoices, online tax declaration and payment, and integrates cash flow management and credit access tools to meet the digital transformation needs of this customer group.
