STOCK EXCHANGE: Helsinki Stock Exchange and Nokia on the rise

On Friday afternoon, the Helsinki Stock Exchange was up 0.8 percent at 13,570.28 points.

Trading quantum computing company IQM Quantum Computersin’s shares started trading on the Helsinki Stock Exchange today under the trading symbol “IQMX”.

The change negotiations concern the entire company’s personnel. According to the company’s preliminary assessment, the measures discussed in the negotiations may lead to job reorganizations, layoffs and the termination of the employment of up to 25 people.

The change negotiations are based on Russia’s decision to raise railway tariffs related to fertilizers. The tariffs significantly weaken North Rail’s business prospects. Nurminen Logistics’ share was up 1.1 percent in the afternoon.
