A new 100-ruble banknote has been introduced into circulation in the Russian Federation.

On July 10, the Bank of Russia will introduce into circulation an updated 100-ruble banknote issued in 2026, the Russian regulator reports.

“On July 10, 2026, the Bank of Russia is introducing into circulation a modernized 100-ruble banknote issued in 2026. The banknote is dedicated to the Central Federal District,” the statement says.

The front side of the updated 100-ruble banknote depicts the architectural symbols of Moscow: the Kremlin’s Spasskaya Tower with the chimes, the Moscow State University building on Vorobyovy Gory, the structures of the Luzhniki stadium and the Ostankino TV tower. On the reverse side there is a monument to the Soviet soldier in the Rzhev Memorial, as well as an outline map of the Central Federal District and flying cranes. The banknote is made in yellow-golden colors.
