La Jornada: They place 6.7 billion pesos in Udibonos

The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit placed a new 10-year Udibonos reference for an amount equivalent to 6,763 million pesos, in the third syndicated operation of the year within the inflation-indexed yield curve.

The issue was complemented with a refinancing operation for 183,202 million pesos, with which the agency extended the average term of the refinanced debt by 3.64 years. This operation provided additional liquidity to the new reference for 4,113 million pesos.

The new instrument, with issue code S 370423, matures in April 2037, pays a coupon of 4 percent and offers a yield of 4.6 percent. With the placement, the total amount in circulation of this Udibono amounted to around 10,876 million pesos. In the refinancing, the Treasury repurchased different debt instruments, including Cetes, Bondes F, Bonos M and Udibonos.
