Bitter bankruptcy of an ambitious metalworking shop

“According to the insolvency application, the debtor states that an increasing number of customers’ invoices are not being paid for flimsy reasons. Lawsuits are already pending in this regard. It should also be noted that in the residential construction industry, in which the debtor is predominantly active, projects are repeatedly postponed. This leads to unsecured and predictable income,” the AKV said. “The debtor is also struggling with a general decline in the order situation and the associated competition and price pressure, as well as poor payment practices and considerable wage costs.”

As liabilities continued to rise, managing director Michael Rothleitner had to pull the ripcord. There was no alternative to filing for bankruptcy.

The Klagenfurt regional court has decided on the Rothleitner GmbH based in Wolfsberg bankruptcy proceedings are opened. The creditor protection associations confirm this AKV, Creditreform and KSV1870 the COURIER.

Rothleitner GmbH (FN 226591y) was founded in 2002, but the company has existed since 1938. In the company register, Michael Rothleitner appears as the managing partner of the company, which specializes in metal construction and metalworking. At the time of the bankruptcy declaration, the company employed 20 people.
