“Break the sequence of fragility”: sales of agricultural machinery jumped 45% month-on-month in July, with combines leading the rebound

According to the monthly report of the entity’s specialized division in the sector, this rebound allowed the sign of sales accumulated in the year to turn around, which were 0.9% above the same period in 2025, totaling 3,999 machines sold.

“July changes the reading of the extended semester: the market not only recovers compared to June, but also remains slightly positive in the annual accumulated. The segment of combines were the ones that drove the recovery to a greater extent: with 84 units sold in July, it jumped 95.3% compared to June and 58.8% in the interannual comparison. Thus, with 536 machines sold in the first seven months of the year, the cumulative result shows a positive result of 14.2%.

“It is the area where technological renewal and the need for operational efficiency seem to have the greatest conversion into real patents,” they pointed out from Acara.

The tractors They also recorded a positive month, registering the patenting of 546 units with a growth of 39.3% compared to June and 15.9% year-on-year.

“Tractors are improving strongly, but they do not clear up all doubts (formally): the segment recovers volume and is practically equal to 2025, which is a substantial improvement compared to the preliminary reading,” indicated the entity’s work.

However, the report noted that the segment “continues to be plagued by broader competition, aggressive in price and with a growing presence of imported brands, especially in segments that are sensitive to the cost of entry. The problem is informality, in practice, with those who do not register. The industry is surely growing, although without data it is not known in what real dimension and all the players make their scenarios.”

Finally, 66 were sold sprayers, a number 46.7% higher than June, but 9.6% lower than July 2025. For Acara, this segment continues to be “the debt of the year” and noted that “the monthly rebound is important, but not enough to reverse the accumulated fall. The category continues to be fragmented, with distributed leadership and strong dispute between national and global. The fragility of Metalfor, with publicly known financial problems, has a direct impact on the market.”

Taking into account this global panorama, the report maintained that, although the demand exists, the sector “it needs specific stimuli to appear”, among those who pointed out “financing, exchange, promotions, fairs, availability and speed of approval, issues that continue to be a central part of the product, not simple accessory tools.”

“For dealers and terminals, the strategic message does not change even though July has been better: inventory discipline, professional used management, strong after-sales and competitive financing. The market can react, but it still does not justify stock or structure euphoria,” concluded Acara.
