Banco Ciudad remained among the top ten entities in the Argentine financial system in terms of lending to the private sector, maintaining its market share and exhibiting delinquency rates significantly lower than the system average. Net income for 2025 was $129.441 billion, with a return on equity (ROE) of 7.3%, equivalent to 1.6 times the financial system average.

The top five in terms of ROE for 2025 were Santander, Banco Ciudad, Banco Nación, Banco Macro, and BBVA. Regarding net income, the top five were Banco Nación, Banco Santander, Banco Macro, BBVA, and Banco Ciudad.

Banco Ciudad’s president, Guillermo Laje, highlighted the bank’s role as the financial agent of the City of Buenos Aires (CABA) and stated: “In 2025, we consolidated our financial results, supported the sectors that drive economic activity, and once again generated dividends for the development of the City.”

Banco Ciudad presented its Integrated Report for 2025, which encompasses the bank’s financial performance and its social, environmental, and governance impact. Highlights include its credit support for individuals and productive sectors, progress in sustainable finance, and the implementation of organizational policies focused on transformation, diversity, and inclusion.

The report emphasized Banco Ciudad’s participation in housing finance, with disbursements totaling $247.343 billion. Of the approximately 2,700 mortgages issued during the period, 82% were for homes in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA), representing 21.8% of all mortgage-backed real estate transactions in the city by mid-2025.

Financing for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) totaled $250 billion, with a focus on the city’s commerce and services sectors, which accounted for 53% of the bank’s peso-denominated loan portfolio.

In parallel, the training activities reached more than 7,200 users of the Pyme Institute’s web platform, and 280 institutions with face-to-face financial education workshops, reaching more than 15,000 people, including young people between 13 and 18 years old from secondary schools, university students, teachers, senior citizens and entrepreneurs.
