The average hourly price of exchange electricity for consumers (incl. VAT 25.5 percent) will remain very low on Saturday. The lowest hourly price of the day drops to 0.1 cents per kilowatt hour at 2 p.m., and the highest hourly price of the day is only 1.6 cents per kilowatt hour at 8 p.m.

The hourly prices stated in the article are averages calculated from the four quarter-hour prices for each hour. The electricity exchange Nord Pool switched to 15-minute pricing from the beginning of October 2025.

Such low prices occur about half the time. The price level on Saturday is well below the typical hourly price of around four cents throughout the day.

Also on Friday, the price of electricity has been very affordable, and the day’s hourly prices have remained at the level of no more than one cent per kilowatt hour throughout.
