More than a dozen companies have already signed up for Trump Media’s new service, which allows Truth Social posts to be received faster than regular users, according to the BBC. The service, called Truth API, was launched in early August. It is intended primarily for trading companies and gives them almost instant access to posts by the platform’s most influential users, including Donald Trump.

According to interim head of Trump Media Kevin McGurn, the first clients are primarily in high-frequency trading. They pay from $60 thousand to $100 thousand per month for access. For traders, even a small delay can make a difference: Trump’s statements often cause sharp movements in the stock and other markets. Therefore, faster access to its publications can give companies an advantage and help them earn more.

At the same time, the service raises questions from an ethical and legal point of view. Trump Media is owned by the Trump family, and the president himself regularly publishes statements on Truth Social that can influence the value of stocks, currencies and other assets. Thus, a company associated with the president receives money for faster access to his public statements. Trump Media expects the Truth API to become a new stable source of income. The company is also considering collaborations with technology companies, media and betting platforms.

The new service comes amid serious financial problems for Trump Media. In the second quarter of 2026, the company reported a loss of $238 million, more than ten times more than a year earlier. At the same time, revenue amounted to only $1.7 million, although it grew by 89% over the year. The bulk of the losses are due to the fall in the value of the company’s cryptocurrency assets. Trump Media says it now intends to refocus on its core business of social networks and media, although it continues to invest in cryptocurrencies and clean energy projects.
