15-story residential towers to be built in Ephrata, the tallest in Judea and Samaria

According to Kipah, Mordot HaZait will be a direct extension of the existing HaZait district. The project aims to create a continuous territorial development and in the future link Efrat with the planned Eitam area.

The construction of the new area is expected to increase the village’s population by almost 40%, making it the first city in Gush Etzion to receive city status.

The tallest building in Judea and Samaria (to date) is also in Ephrata, with eight floors.

The construction project will see the construction of a social housing complex for older people in the area for the first time. It is intended in particular for members of the founding generation of Efrat, so that they can remain in their community without moving to institutions in other localities.

In addition, educational institutions, kindergartens, a community center, synagogues, shopping and business areas will be built in the new area.

Home sales should begin in the coming days. Infrastructure work is scheduled to begin next year, and full occupancy of the area is scheduled for 2030.
