STOCK EXCHANGE: The Helsinki Stock Exchange opened uphill – Neste turned down

The Helsinki Stock Exchange opened up on Wednesday. The stock exchange’s general index rose 0.33 percent to 13,664.61 points at the opening.

At the top of the exchange Nokian the stock rose 2.0 percent.

Stoxx said earlierthat Nokia will rise back to the Euro Stoxx 50 index. Nokia lost its place in the index a year ago. Nokia will enter the index on Monday, September 21.

Liquid the stock rose 2.2 percent at the opening in the morning. The company’s share price has benefited from the increase in the price of oil in recent days. However, Neste’s share fell by 0.9 percent shortly after the start of trading.

Nordic the stock rose 0.09 percent.

In the morning, the biggest decline in the stock market was a silver mining company Sotkamo Silverin the stock, which fell 3.3 percent.

Elsewhere in Europe, the stock markets opened on an upward trend. The Euro Stoxx 50 index opened 0.06 percent higher. In France, the CAC 40 index rose by 0.06 percent at the opening. The London Stock Exchange’s FTSE 100 index rose 0.1 percent.

In Germany, the DAX index was down 0.2 percent.

A mixed opening is expected for Wall Street. The flagship index Dow Jones index future rose 0.08 percent. The futures of the broad S&P 500 index and the technology-focused Nasdaq were falling.

A 94 million euro order for YIT

Construction company YIT says that he has signed an implementation phase agreement with the city of Helsinki for the Jätkäsaari swimming and sports center.

The value of the contract is EUR 94 million for YIT, and it will be recorded in YIT’s order book for the third quarter of 2026.

YIT’s stock rose xx percent at the opening.

Arvo Investment Cooperative says that he has appointed a new CEO. Arvon becomes CEO Teemu Kokko.

Kokko will start Arvo as deputy CEO at the beginning of December and as CEO on April 1, 2027.
