The last communication that the community leader had with company directors was on Monday, when the plant was paralyzed. Likewise, he maintains direct contact with the governor of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, and with the provincial Ministry of Labor, “which is at the tables working on this conflict.”
“People are very worried. They ask us to intervene, although it is not an issue that falls directly to the municipality, because it is a private company, and they ask us for more sources of work, which is what we are doing. We do not sit idly by. We have been doing it for quite some time, not putting obstacles, being an open municipality, so that new companies decide and choose to come to Capitán Sarmiento,” he concluded.
