Vingroup leads the list of 200 enterprises with the largest contributions to the state budget in Vietnam in 2025 with nearly 150,000 billion VND.
According to the ranking of the 200 largest budget-paying enterprises in Vietnam (VNTAX 200) in 2025 (including both state-owned and private enterprises), Vingroup is the first private enterprise to rank No. 1 with a tax amount of nearly 148,800 billion VND, an increase of 2.65 times the previous year. This number is equivalent to about 5.6% of total national budget revenue.
Established in 1993, Vingroup currently operates in 6 core areas, including: technology – industry; trade – services; infrastructure; energy; social and cultural volunteering. To date, companies in the ecosystem are present in more than 12 countries and create jobs for about 400,000 workers globally.

Vingroup’s clear impression in recent years lies in the field of technology – industry. In 2017, the group created a turning point when it established VinFast, Vietnam’s first electric car and motorbike brand. To date, VinFast not only leads sales in the domestic market, but also positions its brand in the international market by listing shares on the US stock exchange.

In 2025, VinFast aims to deliver 300,000 cars and one million electric motorbikes globally next year. In addition, the group expanded its investment in future technology fields. Research units such as VinSmart Future, VinSOC or robot manufacturing businesses such as VinRobotics and VinDynamics are focusing on improving research capacity and mastering high technology.
This group is also famous for shaping urban appearance and services. Vinhomes currently operates 32 urban areas across the country, serving more than 650,000 residents. Large-scale projects are considered to not only expand urban space, but also create new economic growth poles for localities.

In the field of tourism and retail, Vinpearl and Vincom Retail affirm their position as one of the leading brands. With 62 hotel and resort establishments in 20 provinces and cities, Vinpearl is ranked by Brand Finance as “The world’s strongest hotel brand in 2026”. Meanwhile, the Vincom shopping center system serves as a key shopping and entertainment destination, contributing to promoting domestic consumption.
In the field of infrastructure and green energy, through the VinSpeed unit, the group participates in creating important infrastructure foundations by starting construction of two high-speed railway lines Ben Thanh – Can Gio (HCMC) and Hanoi – Quang Ninh.
In the energy segment, VinEnergo implements projects in many localities to realize the goal of green transformation. The move into infrastructure and energy shows the group’s strategy in using private resources to solve major national problems, from regional connectivity to sustainable development.
Besides its business pillars, Vingroup has built its reputation in the fields of health and education. The Vinschool education system currently has more than 51,000 students at 58 campuses, while VinUniversity aims to be a world-class research university model.
In the medical field, Vinmec develops a network of 17 facilities, applying advanced medical technologies such as remote two-dimensional robotic surgery. The Group also builds creative spaces to spread Vietnamese cultural values internationally.

Along with economic activities are continuous contributions to the community. Through the Thien Tam Fund, Vingroup spends 35,000 billion VND for social security programs and 11,000 billion VND to pay tribute to people with meritorious services. These efforts helped the group receive the ASEAN award for rural development and poverty reduction in 2025.
