Saudi Arabia strikes multi-billion dollar arms deal with China

According to Chinese media, at the air show in Zhuhai, which ended two weeks ago, several major deals were concluded on the supply of Chinese-made weapons systems to Saudi Arabia. The total amount of transactions amounted to four billion dollars.

According to reports, the Middle East kingdom will receive 300 CH4 drones, a TB001 UAV assembly line, YJ-21e hypersonic anti-ship missiles, and a Silent Hunter laser drone interception system.

Saudi Arabia seeks to reduce dependence on the United States as an arms supplier. However, it should be noted that China has previously maintained neutrality in the conflict between the kingdom and Iran. Such a deal may mean that the choice has been made.
