The total costs increase for an average household by 13.51 euros per month including all taxes, duties and network costs, according to a press release from Salzburg AG on Friday. Less the so-called green electricity flat rate, the remaining amount is 3.30 euros per month or 40 euros per year. “Regardless of this, affected households can claim a 150 euro energy cost subsidy and a heating cost subsidy.”
Prices are adjusted due to the tense situation
From April 1, 48.4 percent of the total price for electricity consists of pure energy costs, the remaining 51.6 percent relate to network fees, taxes and levies. In an Austria-wide comparison, the electricity price of Salzburg AG is at the current market level after the price adjustment, as the company informed.
