The US imposed sanctions against companies that helped Iran create kamikaze UAVs

The US Treasury Department has designated five companies and two individuals for allegedly facilitating Iran’s kamikaze drone program.

Companies based in Iran, China, Turkey and the UAE were sanctioned. According to the US Treasury Department, these companies and individuals are involved in the “purchase of important parts for the Iranian kamikaze drone program.”

As previously reported, Iran has supplied thousands of Shahed-136/131 kamikaze UAVs to Russia; these drones have been actively used by the Russian military for about a year to carry out attacks on military and civilian targets in Ukraine. Moscow and Tehran continue to deny that such deliveries are taking place, although their fact is obvious and proven.
