The Ministry of Communications has published for public review a draft criteria for receiving subsidies to ensure the energy independence of cellular antennas in the north of the country.
The total amount of subsidies that cellular companies can receive will be 40 million shekels.
The Ministry of Communications intends to oblige operators to provide antennas in northern Israel with generators so that they can continue to operate in the event of power outages during war. Moreover, the work must be completed by June 30.
