The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has announced a ban on non-competition clauses in employment contracts. The Commission also declared such clauses in existing employment contracts invalid.
US President Joe Biden welcomed the FTC’s decision, saying workers should have the right to choose jobs that pay them better and provide better conditions.
Let us remind you that in Israel the non-compete clause is considered illegal and is not recognized by the courts with some exceptions.
