They became best friends when they participated in ‘Paradise Hotel’ together, and together they went all the way to the finals and won the reality show back in 2019.

But today there is icy air between the TV celebrities Anne Plejdrup and Teitur Skoubo. Anne Plejdrup has chosen to cut all contact with Teitur Skoubo, after he has been convicted of rape.

However, it has hurt, she says in a story on her Instagram profile, where she now elaborates on her choice to distance herself from Teitur Skoubo.

‘It was not difficult to make the decision not to have anything to do with him again’, she writes in the story and continues:

‘I completely dissociate myself from violence and rape. No one in this world deserves to be exposed to such a thing. But if it has hurt? Yes, it has. Even though I have not talked to him in the time leading up to it happening, he is still one of the people I have locked in the most and been closest to – and it’s hard to understand that someone you love can do such an act. ‘, it sounds further from the reality star.

Deepest sympathy
Anne Plejdrup further says that she has great compassion for both the people who are close to the victim in the rape case, but also those who are close to Teitur Skoubo.

‘I have the deepest sympathy for the relatives who have been around both to the victim but also to his. It is not their fault that he has done something wrong. It’s a deeply horrible and sad situation, and yes – it’s damn hard to put into words. ‘

Detained
Following the trial on Wednesday last week, Teitur Skoubo was sent directly into custody after being sentenced to two years and six months in prison for a rape committed back in November last year.

His defense counsel appealed the court’s decision to remand him in custody pending the forthcoming appeal, but on Friday the Eastern High Court upheld the decision that he should remain behind bars.

In addition to the prison sentence, Teitur Skoubo was sentenced to pay the costs of the case as well as compensation to the aggrieved woman of 100,000 kroner.

It is not yet known when the appeal will be before the High Court.

Shortly after the rape for which Teitur Skoubo has now been convicted, Ekstra Bladet was able to shed light on what the victim’s friend had experienced in the apartment where it all took place. Read that story here.
